That we hold a First time space race in honor of our glorious Fühere the Duck..er Duke of the StarField Duchy. The Rules would be simple. A compentetion to honor Combat. Defense, offensive, last manuverability, and speed. The Course will lead us from a starting possition of Tatooine's Upper atmosphere at a secure point, towards the planet Tatonet where each ship will defend from moderate yield pulse cannons designed to target engines of ships and remove them from the race. The second leg of the race will take you through the upper corona of the Star Tatoo 1 testing your shields shielding. Third, you will than proceed for the Gas Giant(the name eludes me at the moment) of the tatoo solar system making one complete orbit through it's ice fields. Fourth and finally, will be the race for home...back to Tatooine. The Rules are simple, at any time your engine are disabled you are disqualified from the race. Exampled: If you are disabled during the first part of the race. The Defensive turrets will cease firing upon you. Secondly, low yeild weapons combat between pilots is allowed. If you have a way to creatively knock our your oponents engines...you may. Thirdly, if you lose engines in the star's stellar corona, your family will be re-enversed for no vessels will be avalible to recue you(Sorry). Thirdly, All ships are to consist of sublight engines, no FTL may be used in system.(With all hopes a map will be provide before the race date to give you a kinda visual aid of the comentation..*blinks*) Finally, with the concent of our Fühere, the first place price for this race will be a chance to visit the primere Political palace and stay there a few nights as the guest to our glacious leader. The winner will also recieve 50,000 in credits. The ultimate price to this ventor will be the knowledge that you and your racer were superior to all other racers. Second place will receive 25,000 in credit and also be afforded the chance to stay in the Palace of our Fühere, but second place may have to pay for his placement. THere is no third place I'm sorry to say. The Gorn Warrior, Captain Pshad, addresses the audience* We have gone over the rules and nowhere does it say that the racer needs be a member of the Duchy, nor even that they must not be at war with the Duchy. So the Gorn Republic would like to sponsor the Ambritos Second-Division Zero Fighter Squadron Leader, Kiaroo Milek, *The Ambritos bird-man nods his head, his purple/red feathers gleaming* for the race in a modified Zero Fighter. *The specs for the modified Zero Fighter appear on the screen, as read by the computer* Modified Racer Zero Fighter Dimensions are... 17 x 10 x 3.3 Meters Weapons are... two plasma cannons and two cut phasers Speed is... 2200 Kilometers a second Shields are... 6 Giga Jouls per Trigij of expulsion Identifying marks are... Green painted polarization plates, orange cockpit hub, and Ambritos Crest on wings PILOT BIO: Kiaroo Milek has been in 2 campaigns, serving the Klingon Empire during the civil war. When he was 18, his squadron faced a Klingon Bird-Of-Prey and he took command when the two in command above him were killed. Only he and another pilot survived and the Klingon ship exploded two hours later from damage. In a campaign against the Metron Consortium's 2nd Genesis Wave, a 26 year old Kiaroo Milek lead the 3rd Ambritos Zero Fighter Squadron against the Consortium 50 Fleet.
