Earlier this evening, a massive explosion rocked the city of Mos Eisley, centered around the third district of Shinra Row. While many were quick to dismiss this as a terrorist attack, the center of the explosion--a local law office--was of no strategic value, nor has any terrorist organization stepped up to claim responsibility.
The response from the Peacekeepers was swift; a team immediately moved in to secure the area and cordon it off from civilians and thrill seekers. After an efficient investigation, the blame was laid on a local speeder which had run out of control and crashed into the Wolfram and Hart building, causing a betremine-gas leak which produced a powerful explosion. Peacekeeper forces are already focusing on clearing out the dangerous substances, and citizens are asked to take a detour through the second district, by Venuk street, for the next day.
