Edge Koenig 5:14am, December 25, 2007 [Edit] [Delete] *A man in an Imperial Uniform and silver mask stands in front of a backdrop of what seems to be a glowing asteroid field.* For too many years we, the impoverished peoples of the galaxy, have watched this universe falter and fail time and time again. For too many years, I have watched the once-brilliantly shining Galactic Empire flicker like a dying ember admist the remnants of a once-proud and powerful institution. What was once great, is now a shadow. For a brief, shining moment, the Empire's assurance of galactic stability washed over the civilizations in terror and fear. Fear of one thing- -The Death Star. Since it's twice-over destruction the plans have been lost, and the Republic would never allow one to be built again. Unless, of course, they had no idea about it. *It cuts to images of a shining white Death Star, built using Ancient technology, as it obliterates a planet.* I am Lord Edge Koenig, and I am in command of a Third Death Star, one built with Imperial manpower. Earlier today we tested this battlestation on the planet of Mollex IV, vaporizing it. This battlestation represents the ultimate power in this universe, and as such, I hereby declare myself the leader of the Imperial Government and Emperor of the Universe. By my order we will reestablish the Empire as the dominant force in this Galaxy, and then conquer any others that stand in our way. For those who wish to see the Empire reclaim it's former glory, I urge you to come forwards, and follow me to the Heart of the Republic, where we will crush these dissidents and restore Order to this war-torn galaxy! By my order, I hereby dissolve the Imperial Senate; my power is absolute and is not to be questioned. Also, I hereby declare War on the following organizations: The New Republic, the Dread Conglomerate, the United Federation of Planets, the Peacekeepers, the Romulan Star Empire, The Hutts, the Cylons, the Children of the Nile, and anyone I may have missed. Come! My Imperial brothers and sisters! Let us lead this galaxy into a wonderous new age! Together, we will prevail! At this time, the Conglomerate fleet is going on high alert. I will extend an offer of sanctuary to those who wish to flee the rule of this so-called Emperor. Our border security will be increased during this time of war, but our gates will always be open to those in need. To this false Emperor, I say this: Your kind has been seen before, and destroyed before. The free peoples of the Galaxy will not stand idly by as you attempt to bring about another era of oppression and injustice.
