[Delete] | I lurk here daily ( I have three windows open at any given time- myspace, aim and the cantina), either it's empty or I just feel like being anti-social. I don't RP here because I can't. Eric (and I'm sure others agree) will back me 100%... Unless you're in the main clique of RPers (Zon, Scott, Ry, Mel, Cru etc...), it is nearly impossible to be included in RP as most happen away from the Cantina. I talked with Eric about this when I was in Boston. The reason I took over the Cantina ICly the way I did was I thought Buzz was MIA . I'm in the process of e-mailing him the detailed evil scheme. My intent wasn't to screw him or gain anything out of it ICly. It was to bring RP back to the Cantina, so people like myself can become more involved.

[Delete] | I don't think this will do everything. We've tried, for years, to bring rp back to the cantina, hoping that would fix anything. It doesn't amount to anything. Any problems you or I or anyone else may have with the way rp is conducted has nothing to with what or where the rp is, but with the way rp is approached. Any problems there may be are completely out of character issues and cannot be successfully dealt with in character.

[Delete] | I think Tym is right in saying that there is no RP in the Tina. Thats because there is very little, if any RP actually going on in the tina because most RPs are either in the middle of the desert, in orbit above tattooine, and either in another system or on another planet, and it seems if you arent close with the people who started the RP, then chances are you wont be able to get in. All I know is if I didnt buddy up with Zon when I first started going here I wouldnt be in half the RP's i've been in since I started here. |

What I mean is that trying ICly to make things happen in the Cantina, isn't going to solve the problem some people may have with rp.
And, quite frankly, aside from any problems I may have, I wouldn't want rp in the Cantina. It's so been there done that, y'know? How many times can we start a barfight? I want epic, galaxy-spanning adventure. |
