[Delete]		Alright look. As we all know, or will soon know if you talk on AIM or read the logs...That there has been alot of issues bouncing around dealing with Conni. There was even an incident where one of our fellow chatters or two voiced their opinion in the chat, which caused a little bit of ..."Angry" feeling among some.


You want to voice your OPINION on Conni and what you believe should be done, do so in a sensible Manner. I want none of the bullshit where people go" I WANT HIM BANNED BECAUSE HE'S AN IDIOT" And shit like that...And yes you know who you are that I am referring to, if not..Umm yay!



Again, sensible opinions and thoughts of what should be done with REASONS given, be it you wish to help mentor him of sorts or want him gome.

[Delete]		I can't really comment on allegations reffering to twinking, as I haven't actually RPed with him(though I've heard things from a wide range of sources). In regards to a couple of nights ago, though, he 'was' being highly disruptful. Thing is, we kind of egged it on by acting like it was a big joke, until it got way out of hand. Basically, no-one said anything to him to dissuade him from what he was doing, and in all honesty, we all contributed to the disruption because of the way we were making light of it. So, speaking from that one episode that I was personally witness to, I can't suggest a banning, because we were all party to it in some way. The powergaming, though? Even though I haven't personally RPed with him, I have heard(read) pretty much everyone in the chat complain about it since he first started RPing. I say 'attempt' to teach him to RP without the powergaming, just because I'm stupid and like to give everyone a chance. But hey, failing that, we can always keep him around to annoy the hell out of Cru, when he asks to be a member of the Necronomicons. ^_^ Seriously enough, you guys all know that none of us said anything to him along the lines of, "Hey, enough poking fun's enough. You're disrupting RP." So, yeah, that's my tree fiddy on the whole thing.

[Delete]		 Everyones being too quickl to judge, even though I admit im much the same way, however at the same time veryones letitng him get under their skin too easly, Which I did myself at the beginning. now im trying to look at things from another perspective, how about this everyone back off, Pog and Buzz have been trying to work with connie, because just about everyone started as an annoying noob who pissed of the vets, and at this rate our chats going to die because people are going to be showing up less and less as real life becomes more real, we are going to begin losing people in time, and without replacemnts our chat will someday die.
For all of you conserning yoruselves with connies fate just back off, let the admins try to teach him and then we will get rid of him if he proves to be untrainable like forceflow. there is a simple command
type /ingore followed by the little letters that show up next to connies name followed by however much time you want, put it a whole lot of 9's and you get I think about a week.

As I said the other day on one hand I want to rip his guts out and feast on them, yet I find myself here iwth my mouth full of intestines defending him. It sucks being rather split but im trying to put reasoning before my emotions. hes been annoying on occasion, but we all have our moments, you cant claim hes been theo nly one to do what hes done, and they havent been permbanned, only two in the history of the chat has been given that honor, and that was because we finally concluded there was no hope, Connie has a chance, and I want to see if pog and buzz cant teach him before we kill him.

[Delete]		 Another thing I forgot if we permbanned simply for annoying, we probly would have permbanned a couple including cru because I find cru more annoying than Conni, and theres probly a couple more that I cant htink of off the top of my head, so relax, ignore him if you cant handle him and let us try to bring him into the fold.

[Delete]		Conno is used to role playing on message boards, not in an active chat. Its alot different, those who can remember the URGP can attest to that. All we need to do is teach him how to properly role play. It can be done, everyone was once a fledgling little god moder or just plain pissed everyone off.

If he dosen't respond to the constructive criticism, then we should take more drastic steps in dealing with him, but he's not so bad besides the killing other factions peeps without any permission whatsoever. I mean c'mon we're going to ban him after what? a couple of rp appearances? How long did celt hang around for before being banned?

[Delete]		I beleive celt just stoppped showing up when we moved.

But on Conni, everyone is letting him get under their skin. A personal life motto you could say for me is that any problem is solvable, and I apply to IC events. When det spazzed because Conni was going to attempt the emergency powers bit, he failed to see that ICly, he, as acting prime minister, can decree him a traitor and sick senatorial guards on him and the new republic armed forces. Those who fear that he's got too powerful of a faction, he just killed two tragolite scouts. The trags are 5 realities big, are the dominant faction on Tatooine thanks to Jon's RPing when we weren't paying attention and look for a good fight. Come on, if you have a problem with him, let him give you an opening ICly then take care of it that way. But don't just show up out of the blue and attack the character, make an attempt at some form of plot for it.

So, I guess my point is, chill out, all of you. He's new. He makes mistakes. What's so bad about that?

I have problems with him, yeah. You've all seen me explode at him [i]and[/i] talk about him behind his back. I don't think this makes him worthless or beneath our consideration.

The guy wants to play and has probably done more to spark major rp than just about any other person or event since the restart.

He hasn't actually done anything illegal IC yet.

He's annoying, but all the little annoying things he does are fixable if people would stop shoving their unjustified hatred in his face.

[Delete]		My reasons for disliking/avoiding Conni:

1. He mod's when he RPs.

2. He wants Star Wars only RP (in the Cross-Franchise Cantina), but his character uses powers based on a SW-Dune cross-over. That speaks unfair advantage to those playing "almost-strict" SW-type characters.

3. Lately, he's been purposefully antagonizing people OOC. Namely antagonizing Cru, who we all know is a volatile powder-keg when riled up. Problem is, Conni doesn't know when to stop. This annoys most everyone when it happens, especially when there's heavy IC action going on. It's not the disruption of RP (cuz we have that already in spades), it's the sheer annoyance. I even ignore Cru when he starts going too far with his ALL-CAPS-WITH-SHIFT rants.

4. Either he is an idiot, or he refuses to learn. How long now has he been in here? And he hasn't picked up squat. I don't know which is the problem with this guy, so i'll refrain from saying more on that. I'm trying to be objective. possibly failing.

[Delete]		In his defense, yes mention of dune was found on the website where he referenced his powers, but he doesn't use those particular powers himself. You can't say his powers are bullshit for using Dune tech when they don't. You can claim that the website is full of shit for it, but we already knew that from its amateur appearance and the powers he did in fact say he had. So the Dune thing is really a moot point.

I'll agree he seems to have had trouble absorbing things, but it must be hard for him to follow any attempts to teach when he's being screamed at from all sides.

[Delete]		I think he needed to watch the chat before he plunged into it. certainly he needed to read the guidelines a little better... I had a feeling of dislike towards him since the first time he showed up, BUT I think given a little time, he may shape up.....
