[Delete] | Not saying I knon all the answers..Because I know for a fact I know very few. But niether do all of you...Have the answers that is. How do you know how much power it takes to levitate..How do you know if it´s not possible, or effective in a battle? How do you know that dodging bullets couldn´t be done? You don´t. This is a fantasy chat with minor limits to physical abilities as far as I´ve seen. I´m tired of people believing they have the answers no one else does. Because you don´t. Thank you for your time. |

[Delete] | Well Levitation just seems naturally to require alot of focuse and energy, considering the weight you have to lift, sure you can do it but theres not much of a chance of actually being able to do it in the middle of a running battle, but jedi dont even need lefvitation, theres the ability to jump extreamly high, and then you can use the force to slow your fall and move yourself around, sure it will probly be only about 5 seconds but its enough to clear a building or someone. Bullet dodging would probly be only possible if you start dodging the bullet before its fired, because those things move pretty fast, and even for a jedi it would be hard to move fast enough to do that, sure they can run but theres a diffrence in propeling yourself forwards with the force and moving yoru body. And people need to realize there are limits in the force, there are too many people who have jedi chars but dont think when they use em, I remember people thinking they can teleport with the force, this pisses me off, I like the jedi because they have great abilitys, but they are also mortal and have limits, not some invincible person who can do anything they want. |

[Delete] | Not all the Vigs were gods...i got my ass whooped a ...well just about every damned night(guess thatmeans i was a sucky vig)now with skywalker fucking up...you gotta think...isnt he the strongest jedi there is right now? So levitation is just too hard to use during battle unless they dont attack you for a while.. But on the bullets, jedi can dodge laser bolts that go the speed of light..why cant they dodge bullets?... |

[Delete] | Let´s put things into perspective here...first of all, just because he´s RPing the Skywalker char, does not mean he is the most powerful Jedi in the chat. There are some that have put much more time and effort into building their Jedi´s strengths and abilities. Skywalker was not even the most powerful Jedi in the novels...Kyp Durron had much more power than him...Skywalker only had more experience, discipline, and control. And as for Jedi dodging blaster bolts...Don´t put too much assumption into what you said. Blaster bolts do not travel at the speed of light, otherwise you´d never be able to even see them. And if a Jedi were to have the speed to dodge something going the speed of light, that would mean he was capable of speeds required to enter hyperspace, which is more than impossible. Yes, a Jedi can dodge and block blaster bolts, but the speed is far less than you assume. Too many people in here overestimate a Jedi´s abilities, even if he is extremely powerful and trained. If Jedi were constantly capable of doing the things people assumed they could, they would have wiped away any threats ever in the movies and books. Jedi are not all powerful, only have a stronger ability to make use of their surroundings and natural human abilities through the use of the Force. |

[Delete] | the seeing the lasers, ive been in and have seen arguments on it...the reasons the movies let you see the bolts are because it adds aaction...boom? howd he die..thats what the movie would be like. i wasnt talking about luke in this chat, fuck i8 forgot luke was in this chat, i was referring to books that i have read....luke skywalker was the and is the strongest in the books right bnow besides ben technically but does not use it...kyp does on the other hand |

Now, most jedis can´t dodge blaster bolts, so they use their [b]sabre![/b]Most jedi are killed, and my solution to the jedi problem is sith. Jedis a pansies, who loves and hug trees, and wanna save the rabid little bunnies. Sith have an attitude, "if it ain´t right kill it". So, just throw some sith(preferably someone who can actually play a sith). Another solution is just stop registering Force users all together. |

[Delete] | If we´re allowed to use our full powers, Knives is going to kill us all. Anyways, to the jedi. We can´t ban em. "Cross Franchise" applys to everyone. But there are many IC ways to get rid of em, such as the sith. Hell, I even know of a crazy anti-jedi specialist that would love to take a few down. As for powers, you better be damned skilled to be floating around and dodging bolts. If your not, my characters become extremely skilled as well. Consistant head shots, excellent dodging ability, and that´s just not Jek. So just make sure you explain WHY you can levitate and it better be a good reason. |

[Delete] | I might have a few answers for you. A jedi could use the force to teleport but he would have to be as powerful as the new born emperor to do so. It would be a manipulation of the power called force storm. Of course if you are not able to use this it destorys you. Now as for dodging blasters/bullets. Well a jedi does have enhance reflexs and the such but he has to be actively using this. Plus to use a saber takes a lot of concentration since it has no weight it is hard to control. And the many facets of battle need your concentration. So yes a jedi could "levitate" in battle but to do so he would be juggling to many rabbits to be very effective. Also jedi can die just like you and me but it is just harder and you don´t have to be a sith or force user period to do it. You just need to be smart. |
