[Delete] | *its time for channel 4 news with Nigel! who is reporting from near the front entrance of the Saroyan palace!*
As reported earlier this morning, the planet of Saroya went under a sudden and mysterious assault last night lead by unknown attackers in unmarked ships. The communications were the first of many systems on planet to go down, as well as all of their ground-based weaponry, any and all transports off planet were grounded. The invasion however would prove to not be a permanent one, as they came only for a large majority of historical and valuable culture items on planet - as well as the King.
It has been explained to us by officials that the King has been reported dead - since the murder of Princess Reiko some time ago in the Talon invasion, each member of the royal family had been given a micro chip imbedded some where under their skin, to activate in the cause of death. Saroyan security has been trying to track the location of the chip, but it is believed that it has been destroyed too soon before being able to get a lock on its location.
I have also been recently informed that there has always been an emergency plan in place should some thing like this happen, and a back up monarch is being moved in now to to replace the Suoh's patriarch -- *the camera view suddenly blurs, and he turns around as Saroya Asher is rushed in to the palace, the camera focusing in on her and the captain of the royal guard.....* |

[Delete] | This is Nigel of news channel four coming to you again, live from the planet Saryoa, standing here at the capitol city of Tsuki-Taiyou, in front of the Royal palace. IT has been several days since the mysterious attack on the planets two most important cities, leaving them down one King, and minus several important historical and cultural artifact. The old palace of Southern Saroa left virtually empty and in near ruin.
Since then , several Jedi have arrived at the planet to ensure local safety, as well ad lead search parties for possible stragglers who may be in hiding from the attack. It was reported that Luke Skywalker himself came to speak with the Royal Captain of the Gard, Gideon Adair. Captain Adair will be appearing shortly to report the name of the planet's new leader...
..and here he comes! *The camera zooms in to focus of the uniformed man, standing at a podium at the front of the palace. cameras flash ans news reporters clammer together, clinging to a rope that holds them at bay, to give the guy a little room. He taps once at the microphone to make sure it works and then begins to speak in Saroyan, his words subtitled almost automatically under him on every holovid in the galaxy*
{"Good morning." *The Captain gives a short bow* "Children of Saroya's Sky, Land, and Seas. Visiting Guest. And All those through out this galaxy... It had been decided some time ago by King Tristan, the members of court, the council of United Saroya.. and even myself, that in an event such as this, leaving us with out His Royal Highness King Tristan Suoh, and with his children too young or otherwise unable to replace him, our best replacement, and perhaps most popular among you, even before the attacks would be the one woman we all treasure in our hearts as the Great, and true Mother of this world. The sister of light, to battle the witch who brought darkness upon us once. She has agreed, today, to take the throne and lead us in to yet another recovery - though I believe it a quick one - and guide this planet in to the greatness we all know it can achieve. Because its people are strong, the planet it /alive/ ..and our Soon to Be Queen, the breath of the skies, forests, and oceans, is the kind of warm hearted mother who will do all in her great power to protect and grow our home... Miss Saroya Asher will be a -- *CAMERAS GO CRAZY with flashing, there is muttering, but most of is is over whelmed by cheers by on-lookers who are not there to report the news but watch it happen in real time.* "..will be addressing the public from inside the palace in a few hours to give her thanks. The coronation will take place (whheeen ever is most convenient.. ahem) And all of the galaxy is invited to witness this historic, and important Saroyan event. Thank you."}
*The Captain bows and walks away, back in to the palace as questions are shouted at him fro ma distance. the camera zooms out and focuses again on Nigel*
You heard it here folks, Saroya Asher, of the once famous Ashers of Coruscant will be taking a role as the leader of this planet, Miss Asher, interestingly enough once appeared on ... *Bla bla bla he rants on about the times he interviewed and met with the woman ... *

[Delete] | To the Saroyan people I offer my most sincere consolation for the loss of your King and the theft of your cultural heritage. Such actions are looked upon poorly by our civilized galaxy and the aggressors are nothing but brutal savages that should be rooted out and punished for their actions.
But from darkness, the sun will always rise and I'd like to give great tidings to the sun that has risen over Saroya and her people.
May the reign on the Queen be long and fair. May calm seas prevail and following seas propel. |
