The Senate is in an emergency session right now, debating on the status of the planet and if the Republic will recognize the independence of the planet from the Hutts. However, they do agree that the planet docent need the Hutts or the peacekeepers interfering at this time. I am hereby authorized to carry out patrols around Tatooine space to try and prevent these forces from entering the system.
However if requested we are willing to bring forces into orbit, and even land parties if again, the people consent. congratulations on your success and I hope to hear the senate recognizing your new independence soon." |

[Delete] | Our planet is far from free Admiral. We have only liberated the city-state of Mos Eisley. However even there, pockets of resistance remain. Even with their employers defeated, they will not give any ground. This was not a planet wide victory. The liberation of Mos Eisley was only the opening salvo in this war. |
