[Delete]		You may have noticed a few things. People were allowed to be schooled. Roads were paved. Giant mobile artiliary was everywhere. It was harder to enter and exit cities as you pleased.

Other than that, Tatooine was the same cesspool of violence as it ever was.


This, is over. As of now. Tatooine is now party of the Glorious Duchy, and as part of the Duchy, you will respect our laws. There will be no breaking of them, and no bending.

All owners of ships must have their ship registered by the end of the week. After which, any unregistered ship will be impounded.

Taxes, for now, are minimal. This will change as we conduct an accurate consensus.

Murder, Slavery, robbery, kidnapping, and gambling outside of Casino's are all outlawed. Slavery is defined as dealing with sentient beings, so creatures such as Droids, or Shinra's Allocation Servants, are allowed.

We understand that the cities are a virtual pressure keg of crime. We know that any ban on weapons will be a useless endevor. However, any weapon that is larger than a pulse pistol will be regarded as to have malicious intent, as opposed to that of self-defense. We don't want to take away good citizen of the Duchy's ability to defend themselves from vile terrorists, after all- -but anyone carrying around heavy weapons will be considered a resistance fighter. THis may seem unfair, but you do not need an anti-tank rifle to defend yourself against a mugger.

Any mobile suit construction, outside of the Duchy, is illegal.

Possession of high explosives is strictly illegal without permits.

All citizens must be documented, and must have their identification on them at all times.

No one will be allowed in or outside of cities without the proper entrance and exit visas.

And of course, any suspected members of the Resistance are to be shot on sight. The Definition of a Resistance Member is one who opposses the Duchy in a violent fashion.

These are all criminal charges. Civil charges will be as follows:
Defacing Duchy Property, such as the Vidscreens, building sides, and mobile suits, will result in jail time.

Children are NOT to be allowed to random rooftops unescourted, and should never throw bombs at the heads of Gundams. This was a horrible tragedy, and we have recieved word that the soldier responsible, Aceth, has killed himself, presumably from the guilt. Resistance Members- -stop your pitiful war, and this will no longer happen.

Pirated Radio Stations are illegal. Radio Free Mars has one chance to turn him, her, or themselves into the proper Authorities, by midnight tonight. This offer goes out to members of The Resistance as well.

To reitterate: Radio Free Mars and any members of the Resistance have six hours to turn themselves into the proper Authorities.


After midnight, we will hunt you down, and ferret your terrorist selves out of whatever hole you've dug yourselves in.

You've doen enough to try and destroy the stability of this planet, and return it to violent chaos. My predessor, Captantok Ignatius Evergreen, was an honorable man. He was a nice man. He would, by report, toast, and buy resistance members a drink, with some philosophy that combat should be left to the combatants.

You have made it quite clear, by putting children in harms way, by the willingness to set your own city on fire to harm our bases, and the resistance considers everyone to be a combatant. We have no choice, absolutely no choice, to respond in kind.

If you think this is harsh and unwarrented, then consider the fact that you must therefore be breaking a law. If you stay in your homes, if you go about your business, your jobs, and your lives, then you will never come in any conflict with these laws. If you attempt to disrupt, attack, or spurn others to do so, then you will be summarily dismissed.

One Nation, One Ruler, One Duke, One Duchy. Hail Starfield!

We will not turn ourselves over to a group who's sole reason for taking over was a single death, and in turn, created thousands more. We will not turn ourselves in to a group who feels they are taking care of us when we are still taking care of ourselves. We will NOT submit to a group who wishes to disarm us to nothing but pistols and expect us to survive vampires, the paranormal, and the various other things we come in contact with.

So go ahead and arrest us. You gotta find us first.

[Delete]		I haven't seen many bad things form the Duchy. In fact most reactions I've seen from the Duchy are a reaction given to people who fear. People who see the need to resist every time good jesture and action taken by another government. The Duchy has tried to build schools, to improve life as well as education for the people of Tatooine. Yet there's always one or more people who believes that a happy nation must be sent by the devil. You make it hard to believe this is an actual war with only one side moving to make dramatic and unusual attacks upon the other.

Make up your minds people before they're made up for us by fearful people. Or Policing people.

I mean, sure, we don't like the ducky, but it was going to happen eventually and all I can say is I'm glad its not some power nungry dictator who's on a killing spree. As for it being illegal to claim unclaimed things, that only happens when another group feels they have a claim to the object in question. Are you planning to invade now too? Haven't we seen enough blood shed? Let them have the planet, my little brother goes to school now....
