"We interrupt your regular programming to bring you this breaking news bulletin. Several nuclear explosions have taken place on the planet of Tatooine. We now go live to Andy Kruschev from Mos Eisly. Andy?"

Thank you. At approximately 1536 local time, a nuclear explosion occurred outside Larkin City, a colony of the Outer Rim Republic. About five minutes afterwards, a similar explosion occurred in Mos Expendable, this time in the city center. The city was destroyed. A THIRD explosion occurred in the western section of Mos Espa. Casualty reports are still coming in, and we cannot give you an estimate of the damage just yet. as if this was not enough, a FOURTH explosion occurred outside of Mos Eisly. It appears at this time that the bomb was discovered and diverted away from the city, saving countless lives.

"Andy, this sounds like the work of the so called Kaelton Loyalists. Any word on that possibility?"

As of now, Loyalist involvement has not been proven or disproven. The warheads used were, however, very similar to those utilized by the former Dread Conglomerate. Hang on a moment, Coruscant, we're recieving word that the Outer Rim Republic has blamed, yes, Kaelton Loyalists for the explosions. They have told us that they will be issuing an official press release shortly. Back to you, Coruscant.

"Thank you Andy. We will continue to bring you updates as information becomes availible. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming"

*Carol stands at her podium, looking very stern* At close to 1400 hours yesterday, Tatooine local time, Kaelton Loyalists exploded four nuclear warheads in and near several cities. Larkin and Neumann appear to have been the primary targets, but sadly, it was innocent cities that took the brunt of the attack.

*she moves her hair slightly as she pushes aside her written speech*

On behalf of the Outer Rim Republic, it's people and government, I apologize most sincerely to the victims and their families. The Republic has already dispatched aid ships to help in any way possible.

I am meeting with the Senate today, where I will ask them to pass a resolution forming a Task Force to seek out the Loyalists. I ask other faction leaders to assist us in our hunt, as Commander Kaelton and his forces pose a threat to all in this region of the galaxy. I will be glad to accept communiques from any and all heads of state willing to help. Independent person who wish to help should seek out their nearest Republic representative.

This concludes my press statement. Thank you.

Due to stress and the nightmares the recent carnage has caused, Omega and I have decided to go away for a couple days. Erebus is in charge of the Foundation while we're gone, and I'm sure he'll give the ORR full cooperation in apprehending and bringing to justice (and/or neutering) the Loyalist bastards that tried to destroy the planet. And to the Loyalists, I swear to god if you try to bring nuclear fallout to my planet again, I will personally make each and every one of you eunichs with your own nukes!

To the traitors in the ORR, you will pay with blood, no outside intervention will prevent your well deserved demise. The Red rise from the sand and will spill your blood in the name of Kaelton!

Tatooine will be your tomb until the end of ages!

Similiar to the Foundation response, the United Federation of Planets is officially decrying these attacks. They seemed to be indescriminate terror attacks designed to force the hand of a neutral spaceport world into war. The starship Agamemnon, still in system, is being modified to help curb some of the radiation stemming from the atomic weapons, and anyone suffering from radiation sickness is urged to contact the myself or any other qualified Starfleet officer for medical attention.

Thank you, that is all.

((Appologies if this post didn't make sense...I've been awake for almost ten minutes!))
 Help is on the way!
