[Delete] | The Tragolite Federation conducted a Raid of the Law offices of Wolfram and Hart This Afternoon. They acted under authority of Sevral City-States after a panel reviewing the Disaster at Anchorhead found conclusive evidence suggesting W&H had contributed to presence of Demonic entities which in turn led to the Destruction of the Plant and the city. The Raid uncovered details of W&H plans. W&H employees are being detained and intterogated at the Tragolite Headquarters. Tragolite techs are currently trying to gain information from damaged computer files and a confiscated Server. The Tragolite Command wishes to assure the people of Mos Eisley that they have not begun an invasion of Mos Eisley. The rumors of an incoming seizure of power by the Tragolite Federation are unfound. More Details will come.
The Tragolite Federation have issued bounties for W&H employees, most notably Darren Algernon, a bounty of 200,000 credits has been placed on his head, for more information on the bounties refer to the Tragolite Federations PR network, more information can also be found at the Tragolite Embassy. Any W&H employee in hiding is good for a reward, all bounties should be taken to The EMbassy or to the Bestine Crossing, Bounties will be paid upfront.
Bounties are also offered for information on the attack suffered by Tragolite Forces after the raid. Troops were attacked by several mechs and airborne craft who do not register with any IFF systems*Video is played of the Grizzly and several other craft. *

I am here to respond to the events, and to alert the public of this galaxy, and specically the people of Tatooine, of our position on the matter.
Ahem.
First of all, we demand to see this so-called evidence. We would deny involvement, but quite frankly, we are at a loss as to what we are accused of. You can't honestly having us accused of witchcraft, are you? I understand that many Tragolite writings are rich with purple prose, identifying guiding concepts as gods and devils, but I had no idea!
The truth is this: The Tragolites conducted an illegal search and seizure of Mos Eisley land, killed an undetermined amount of people, and are blaming it on one of the few organizations on the entire planet that happens to have record of law that has not been written by the Tragolites. Laws which have now been confiscated and destroyed by the Tragolite forces.
Truly. We are at a loss. We can't stand up to your military might. You have found a scapegoat for your disasterous power plant and have used it to destroy the only organization that had any legal right to stand in the way of your new world order. Truly, there now exists no real proof of laws that say that Mos Eisley is separate from the Tragolite sponsored coalition.
The truth is, the offices of Wolfram and Hart is a long-standing, long-established inter-galactic conglomerate known for it's ties with many leading industrialists, and extensive charity work. Centuries ago, during the age of the Old Republic, Tatooine was a barren wasteland. People came to colonize, found it's metals useless, and were left dealing with savage natives and an impossibly harsh climate. The planet became known for it's out-of-the-way nature, and evolved into a haven for crime, and criminal empire. Even if a colonist could survive the harshness of the planet's serface, they still had to fight against bandits, pirates, scoundrels, and savages. Civilization was not meant to survive under such conditions.
But Law is the backbone of civilization. And the founder of the Tatooine office, Hermish K Loratt, knew this was more than just an addage. He took it upon himself to found a new branch of Wolfram and Hart in Mos Eisley, to help conduct true and fair law, and justice, despite the wasteland. To give hope, and to help those who wished for civilization, have it. To give the planet a set of it's own laws, and justice system, and courts, written by those who would be governed by it. It was hoped that Wolfram and Hart would stand the test of time. In truth, it did. Everyone from metalurgists, to gangsters, abided by these laws, and worked with this attorney's office, to keep crime off of the streets and put criminals behind bars, as much as can be done, in the wild.
But that is no longer the case.
Mos Eisley has just been annexed, and the only group that carried out it's fledgling, and admittedly primitve, judicial system has been wiped out. Bravo, good sir. But your motives are in fact, transparent.
Our records are secure, in a D.S.S.S. system, which we have linked via satilite to a sister system. We took a remarkable amount of security precautions after the terrorist attack on our building last year, and this was one of them, to secure our files and records in the case of "Catastrophic destruction." I'd say a group of interdimensional warlords bombing a well-established organization that was a rich and stablizing force in the city satisfies that request.
The D.S.S.S. system is virtually unhackable. We will gladly turn ours over to a neutral party, to ensure confidentialy for our clients. We can only hope that you respect such concepts.
This is slander, and libel, and we would sue you, but you'd just have us lined against the wall and shot, as you have on Tatooine. |
