Energy/Projectile Line Now Available.
William Sanjet 12:00am, April 17, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	The SCS has approved and slated the new Energy/Projectile line for full production. These weapons shall become the new weapons issued to T-19 Power armor squads for added strength and firepower while SSF groups shall continue to use the old product line. We here at Shinra Inc. are here to ofically offer these fine weapons to the public. The Energy/Projectile series lives up to it's name. The projectile is an armor piercing round encased in a small energy bolt. The combined power and speed of the combined projectiles allow it to travel through the target and continue on it's path. The weapon has shown to be extremely effective against armor and the kenetic impact and energy alllows it to severely weaken or even pass through shields. Shinra Model P-66 Energy/Projectile Pistol Caliber - .45 Armor Piercing Range - Effective up to 150 meters. Laser type - Basic energy bolt. Has high/medium/low laser settings and uses common blaster powerpacks Fire Settings - Semi automatic. Holds a 12 round clip. Power pack should be replaced after every five clips fired. Cost - 6,000 credits. The P-66 has replaced the Model 9000 as the Turks standard sidearm. A vital hit can usually kill a person in one shot. The energy encased round can easily pierce most bodyarmors and basic shields with ease. Avability of ammo and powerpacks is common which allows one in the field to easily obtain ammo. Excepts most standard kinds of ammo. Shinra Energy/Projectile Rifle (SEPR) Caliber - 7.62 Armor Piercing. Laser Type - Blaster bolts. Accepts common blaster powerpacks. High/medium/low laser settings. Fire Settings - Semi auto, 3 round burst, automatic. 30 round magazine. Powerpacks need changed every five magazines. Cost - 10,000 credits. The SEPR is the perfect combo of speed, power and accuracy. Sharing the same characteristics as the rest of the series, the three round burst and automatic settings allow a skilled user to rip apart a target in mere seconds. A special coolant barrel prevents overheating and allows extended operation. Additional attatchments and modifications can be made to the weapon. Shinra Model P-60 Energy/Projectile Cannon. Caliber - .50 caliber depleted uranium. Range - 3,000 meters maximum. Can be increased with specialty scopes. Laser Type - High powered plasma generator. Has various power settings. Fire settings - Semiautomatic. Short delay time between shots as plasma generator readies itself for the next shot. Magazine holds 15 rounds. Cost - 18,000 credits. The P-60 is the most powerful of the three Energy/Projectile weapons. During weapons tests, it has pierced through walls of mandalorian iron measuring one and a half feet thick, pierced starship hulls and disrupted shielding. The high calliber depleted uranium ammo works along side with a plasma/energy encased bolt that's generated inside the weapon. Delay time between shots vary with the power setting. Not reccomened for use inside starships, low quality housing, and most indoor use, due to the projectile's travel speed and the chance that it could hit an unintended target in an opposite room. Solaris 10:00am, May 21, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	I'm only bringing this up because it seems like it might become an immediate concern for my character, but that last weapon seems like it's too powerful. It's basically as powerful/more powerful than a turbo laser turret, but is man portable. Every Military Force Ever 9:33am, May 23, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	We give up, the P60 is the weapon to end all armies. THere's just no point anymore. A "bit" much? You're SHITTING me, right? THat kind of power in a freaking hand held weapon? ANd depleted uranium? Sure, if you're actually fielding a weapon that needs to be mounted somehow and packs a supreme punch, like a 30mm gatling gun, not a .50 pop gun (by comparison). DU has been used in small handgun rounds (as small as 9mm), but the tradeoff really isn't there when a standard AP round can do teh job just as effectively (at least when we're talking about caliburs this small). But, since that weapon is a moders dream, I'm sure there's some sort of ultimate propulsion system in each bullet that accelerates it faster than anything else in the known universe, so as to make the comparatively small round so effective that it penetrates mandalorian iron nearly two feet thick. Regardless of kinetic energy, a .50 wouldn't have the MASS to penetrate armour like that. Fuck, a few INCHES would give it trouble. Shield disruption? The best weapons in the Star Wars universe designed specifically for power disruption that are larger and mounted on bombers or dedicated weapons platforms don't pack NEARLY this kind of power. ANd you're shoving all this into a hand held weapon with the tradeoff of "time between shots"? Exactly how heavy is this weapon, with all that packed into it? Does the user have to wear a lead suit just to be able to fire? How about a robotic arm attachment just so the weapon can be lifted? Atleast for the SW Universe, I do not know anything about ShinRa in general but Mandelorian Steel is pretty unbelievably powerful and for a bullet to pierce it, let alone over a foot of it, seems to be rediculously over powered. Technically speaking anyone can purchase this weapon and pick off capitals by mounting them on their ships with a trigger system thus tearing through the Galaxy with inexpensive (In regards to Anti-ship weapons) weapons which render everything else obsolete. Also in regards to you being the only one using it.. well that really doesn't change the fact it may be over powered. I'd like the Empire to put out hand held Super Lasers and be the only one using them thus making them acceptable but I doubt I could pass it off with that philosphy.

Caliber - 30mm caliber depleted uranium. Range - 2,000 meters maximum. Laser Type - High powered plasma generator. Has various power settings. Fire settings - Semiautomatic, automatic. Belt fed magazine Cost - 25,000 credits. Due to the lack of power from the P-60 and advances in the weapons department, Shinra Inc has developed the P-69. Based on designs from the .41 rimless autocannon, this tripod mounted weapon can decimate pretty much anything on the battlefield. Some would say this is overpowered, but it IS on a tripod, which limits it some. And as a one time offer, if anyone purchases this or the P-60 and uses it against Y-Wing pilot, we'll give you a 20% discount. Bring his head and we'll cut the price by half! Shin-ra Inc. When it absolutely needs to be destroyed and destroyed completely, choose Shinra.

I did the math on the weapon used to shoot toxic and rachel. .....That weapon would of leveled half the city from the shockwave. Same concept as a small meteor causing a crater four times as big. Jek is a moder. Deal with it people. Thats why we mode right back and rip him a new one.......me personally......I think its time I brushed off the ultimate in moding technology and bring it back.

The SEPR Rifle, which has been designated by a board of committees as the M-8 Infantry Defense Rifle. The M-8 has beat out several other companies during this evaluation period, The M-8 performed well in many of the tests it was exposed too and the committee has decided to impliment this rifle in the Naturalization program that was applied to Tragolite Forces Domestic within the last few months. The Purpose of this program is to help feul the local Tatooine economy by buying products available in the Arkanis System. While A contract has yet to be hammered out, the M-8 will be the next weapon for light infantry units operating on Tatooine.

On a completely unrelated topic, (Yeah right...) the corporation is requiring that those purchasing the P-60 have obtained a Shinra Class 3 Weapons permit. (More fees, takes six months OOC time to obtain) to purchase.

So the gun that everyone says is overpowered now takes half a year for your character to get, and like all legendary weapons, kicks your wallet to the curb and rapes it. Issue solved.
