| Federation response |
Commander Haweke Karbn 6:13pm, August 29, 2010 [Edit] [Delete] | *Formal press conference time. Haweke is clearly uncomfortable with the circumstances, but he covers it well. He steps out on a podium located in the Ambassadorial chambers on the Olympus station with the UFP flag behind him.*
On the behalf of the United Federation of Planets, I extend sympathies to the people of Mos Eisley in the wake of this terrible tragedy. This comes to a shock to a city which has only recently regained it's freedom in the face of adversity. As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts, I'm redirecting a number of supplies, chiefly food, medicine, and clean water from Olympus 4 to Mos Eisley. The Federation also offers to assist in any search-and-rescue operations that are required. The U.S.S. Pedigree, a hospital-ship, is currently en-route to the Tatoo system and should arrive within the next ninety-six hours.
Our hearts go out to all of those who have been hurt by this disaster. |
