Sunday at aproximately 3 arns in the afternoon, local standard time, a planned Urban Renewal was carried out in the city of Mos Eisley. This was a plan designed by Lord Skrellnik and his chief aide in Mos Eisley, Commander Cae'tan Tarxyn. Commander Tarxyn wished to have the people in the Eastern Ring ghetto relocated to more promising and hospitable environments in a relocation village in the desert, where Peacekeeper forces have conducted a shelter from the heat and sand.
However, during this peaceful and willing relocation, a group of yet unknown, but suspected Ion Storm terrorists attacked, and began to massacre the civilian population. While Peacekeeper forces were able to fend off these vile terrorists, the arrival of a sandstorm unfortunately forced Tarxyn's Pantak-class Vigilante to ground in the desert. Many ships were lost attempting to weather the sandstorm during this attack, and at 7 arns an explosion was recorded signifying the destruction of the ship.
Lord Skrellnik asks for all peace loving citizens of Mos Eisley to turn away these criminal terrorists, and to mourn the death of a great man. The Peacekeeper forces themselves have declared that they will not allow these terrorists to dictate policy, and that they will redouble their patrols.

He has his sidearm clearly visible at one hip, his lightsaber hanging from the other.* Ion Storm strongly denies these accusations. We were forced to respond to an unprovoked attack on civilians by Lord Skrellnik's and Peacekeeper forces. Their intention was to wipe out the poor sections of Mos Eisley. Many civilians were killed in this attack, but the sheer bravery and perseverance of my men and our allies finally defeated the Peacekeepers in battle. We are simply residents of Mos Eisley just as you are and wish for peace just as you do. But we will stand and fight as long as we are forced to. |
