*It's a scene from Jabba's old palace, which has been recently repurposed and repaired for Skrellnik. It's still as dingy as ever, but he hasn't collected as many violent lowlifes just yet--it's just a few...and a lot of Peacekeeper guards. The communication is broadcasted, via Skrellnik's new protocol droid, in Huttese, basic, and whatever else have you. While his big-ass slug lips move, the translation is realtime so he seems to be speaking in...well whatever language you like.*

People of Tatooine, this is your new sovereign, the magnificent and merciful Skrellnik the Hutt. It is my intention to return this planet to the glory days, before the fall of Jabba the Hutt's syndicate at the hand of one of his...dancers. To a time when lawlessness did not run through this planet, when wars were not fought over meaningless pieces of desert sand--when issues were resolved calmly, gentlemanly, or else they would come to the attention of the Hutts--at which point they were resolved permenantly.

I have been monitoring transmissions over the last week. Many of you are worried what this means for the future of this system. What this means is prosperity, safety, and peace, given through respect. Respect that the mighty hand of the Hutt have lost over the last two decades.

To this extent you will respect this new rule. Effective immediately, all planet-bound settlements will be taxed. The economy of Tatooine is designed around...perfectly legal cargo shipments and, of course, water. All spacers are welcome at my palace when looking for work, and the owners of all docking bays in all settlements should be aware that I am levying a 5% tax for all ships. In return, docking bay terrorist attacks like the one that destroyed the majority of Mos Eisley docking bays several months ago will not be tolerated.

I am also instituting a water trust. From this moment on, every family on Tatooine must give up one liter of water per day, or face the consequences.

While Ion Storm has always placed the highest priority on protecting the citizens of Mos Eisley, there are times where freedom cannot be sacrificed for safety. This happens to be one such instance. Ion Storm will not stand for any such government or any such taxation, unless the people are allowed a voice. Ion Storm will aid any trader, citizen or visitor of Mos Eisley if called upon.

*Protocol droid waddles up.*

On behalf of the ever-illustrious and magnificently-scented Lord Skrellnik the Hutt, we are now offering the following bounties:

Michael Stryker:
20,000 credits ALIVE
8,000 credits DEAD

Jack "Lone Wolf" Knull
15,000 credits ALIVE
9,000 credits DEAD

Amber Rossi
13,000 credits ALIVE
5,000 credits DEAD

Gregory Reikson
12,000 credits ALIVE
6,000 credits DEAD

Plus a 5,000 credit bonus to anyone who delivers all four of them alive; a 300 credit bonus to anyone who delivers them all, but one or more are deceased. An additional 1000 credit bounty is also expected for any other proven members of Ion Storm which can be delivered to Lord Skrellnik, alive or dead. These claims must be verified, or Skrellnik will be exceedingly displeased.

One may collect these bounties at Skrellnik's palace in the Dune Sea.

*A short, low quality video video is played. It shows the MEPD attempting to arrest an Ion Storm officer, only to be ambushed themselves by what appear to be civilians. They then disappear, leaving only Stryker, whose words are clear.* "Let it be known that Ion Storm has risen against the occupying force that has immorally and unlawfully taken control of our city. We have fired the first volley in what is sure to be a long battle for our freedom. Stay the course and we will triumph as we always have!" *With that, he disappears in a shimmering blue cloud as he is also Chrono-Shifted away.*

This is outrageous. The Peacekeepers, the execution of our acting leading.

Your all messed up.

And now these bounties for resistance. Why I bet a slug like you would even execute the slave scratching your slime trail if they did it wrong.

But I digress. Out of inspiration of the Tragolite Federation We're starting a new city. I haven't thought of a name for it yet. But it's good for all free traders and independent of Tatooine and Skrellnik Ownership. .... Our, good faith Shaman has helped it be so.

Anybody who doesn't want to be part of the Hutt controlled biatch slapping areas is free to come and join us.

Especially IS.

And if any of you know whats right in this world you'll pretend each of those bounties are on sections of Skrellnik's slimy body instead of the good people who have given up everything of their lives to defend you.

Peace out and Godspeed.

While Ion Storm thanks you for the invitation, we must decline. We strongly urge citizens of Mos Eisley to migrate until the occupying force has been driven out. However, until every freedom seeking citizen has left, we must uphold our vows to protect Mos Eisley and her residents from both attack and oppression. As for Skrellnik The Hutt... He has severely underestimated us. No threat, no bounty, no army will ever force us to run. If we must sacrifice our lives, we will with but one regret- That we have so few to give.

The Outer Rim Republic will flatly refuse to pay any sort of tax. Furthermore, we protest the posting of these bounties by Skrellnik, and offer safe harbor to those targeted by these illegal bounties.

Free water.
