The New Republic still wants to see a fulfillment of the dream of a station for extensive diplomatic conversation between the many factions here, however we are worried with the continuing chaos surrounding Tatooine that trying to rebuild the station there may be undesirable and we would like to instead open up a couple possibilities for other locations. The first is Tanos. a station already exist and a sizeable Republic Fleet would help guarantee the safety of our diplomats and distinguished guests, and we would make provisions and expansion to allow any other faction to share these duities if they felt so inclined. With the station already standing we could set to immediate work on diplomacy and working towards better understanding and better coexistance, however the station would be in Republic space, which may deter some even though we would offer immunities and fair travel with any species as long as they do not make any hostile gestures towards the system. Second is another neutral space site, the Route of Ages. Here noone truly controls the space, despite a few attempts at it. With a station here we could ensure further neutrality and prevent any other attempted seizures, allowing it to remain an open and stable trade route to our friends in other galaxies or dimensions as the case may be. However this does open us up to some potential probelms, borg excursions and possible attacks by unkown forces that may come through the route, this along with no existing structures means we would need a strong security fleet and time to build such a base. we look forward to others imputs."
