[Delete] | With the loss of life that has happened recently the system has developed a bit of a depressed feel, the loss of loved ones is great but that loss is choking daily life into a personal hell of daily suffering. What we need is a chance to celebrate the lives that they gave up for us, to mourn but to ultimately find our holiday spirit, and drag Tatooine from this funk.
That is why we are going to throw a super roast, celebrating the life that exists, remembering the ones who are lost, and reminding ourselves that our loved ones would not want us moping and overall wasting the chance they gave us. So please come out, there will be plenty of Traditional Life Day foods, along with some Christmas foods for those who celebrate other traditions or wish to try something new. there will also be a memorial wall where you can have your loved ones name immortalized with the rest who fell. For those really wanting to get into the spirit there will be the blind Wookiee gift giving. basically purchase a small generic gift appropriate for just about anyone. we will then have various games to determine the order that which presents are selected.
This event will be held on the 15th (Next Tuesday) starting around 5:30 (that's eastern 3:30 pacific)and will go until the last person leaves. One final warning, while I have opened this to any and every person who wishes to attend, troublemakers, groups with grudges with each other and so on are encouraged to behave, any and all transgressions will be delt with, maybe even with giant robots. |
