*The image of a slightly old, short man sitting in a rocking chair holding an ancient book appears on the screen.*

Hm.. now where was I, ah yes.

Talithan was an Elven-king.
Of him the harpers sadly sing:
the last whose realm was fair and free
between the Mountains and the Sea.

His sword was long, his lance was keen,
his shining helm afar was seen;
the countless stars of heaven’s field
were mirrored in his silver shield.

But long ago he rode away,
and where he dwelleth none can say;
for into darkness fell his star
in Emonful where the shadows are.

----

Yes, Talithan is a great sorcerer, very powerful and wise in the arts of magic. Ah yes, so you want to hear the tale? Very well. I shall tell you the legend of Talithan, the great sorceror of Quiso.

----

Long ago, on a planet, far, far away...

There lived 10 Elven kings on the planet of Quiso. One of these elves was named Talithan, the youngest of the 10.

They each conquered their own kingdom among the planet, spread out far and wide. Talithan had the biggest of the kingdoms, and they all got along ... seemingly well.

They had meetings regularly, until at one meeting they all got into a big arguement on whether or not to make the 10 Great Kingdoms into one.

Eventually Quiso was split into a bloody civil war, 5 Kingdoms against the other 5. Each day was a red dawn, meaning blood had been spilt the day before. Talithan and the other 4s army was called the Green Hand. The other side's was called the Blue Hand.

Of course Talithan was for the whole kingdom idea.

The civil war lasted for hundreds of years, via the lifetime of elves, for Talithan would take as long as it would to make his idea a reality.

Eventually the Green Hand and Talithan had overthrown the Blue Hand and the other 5 Elven Kings. They begged for forgiveness, but in the end Talithan slew them and his own companion Kings. He was left to rule and dominate the entire 10 kingdoms, and brought them all in 1 giant kingdom.

For thousands of years he ruled in dictatorship, and seemingly the entire elf race was happy, but in secret there were several .. who resisted.

Groups of rebel elves left the kingdom and spread out all over the planet, and for hundreds of years they battled that Green Hand, though winning VERY few battles out of thousands.

Talithan then allowed the race of men to enter his kingdom, only to have most of them join the resistant forces. Now they continue to battle it out, and Talithan is still in power.

Ah wait, I seem to have found an old poem of the rebels as they marched out of Emonful.

Let me receit it for you.

*Ahem*

Farewell we call to hearth and hall!
Though wind may blow and rain may fall,
We must away ere break of day
Far over wood and mountain tall.

From Emonful, where Elves yet dwell
In glades beneath the misty fell,

Through moor and waste we ride in haste,
And wither than we cannot tell.

With foes ahead, behind us dread,
Beneath the sky shall be our bed,
Until at last our toil be passed,
Our journey done, our errand sped.

With foes ahead, behind us dread,
Beneath the sky shall be our bed,
Until at last our toil be passed,
Our journey done, our errand sped.

We must away! We must away!
We ride before the break of day!

---

And now I continue the story.

The rebels knew of Talithan's great magic power, and none could touch him. None who lived could.

Except for one.

"Not all those who wander are lost,
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king."

This tale speaks of the one man who can defeat Talithan. His initials are L.R., his entire name unknown. It is said he battled Talithan on the slopes of the great valley of the Moshed'ai.

The One threw down his foe, Talithan, and was about to make the final blow.

But Talithan had other ideas. He teleported himself at the last brief second away, and dispatched the One Man to the lands of Tatooine in a spell.

There the man still dwells, some say they have saw him. Some have said he travels as a cloaked wanderer, a mysterious robed figure.
---

And lo! ends my story of the ever infamous legend. I hope you all have enjoyed your stay and listening of my story. Good day!

*End message*

Figures... Talithan versus Thanatos in a fourteen foot high steel cage... Now that'd be intresting.
 That can be arranged.

Give me a few minutes, I've gotta few of Zon's characters trapped around in limbo, I'm sure their life forces could be used to preform a resurrection..*cough cough cough*
