[Delete] | Ive been working on a galctic map, for those who get curious as to exactly what the galctic situation looks like. THis is a major work in progress, so far Ive marked New Republic and Imperial planets, in Gold and red respectivly. ive also marked in gree the Territory that the new republic essencially gave first call to the federation in. Where any federation colonies are I do not know at this partiuclar second, nor do I know if the federation expects to claim all that territory as its own or what. now im not sure the planets for the Republic or the Empire are done, I, with imput from others might remove or add a planet or two in an area, and this map currently lacks any of the systems we created for the chat specificly
unfortuantly photobucket has a size resitrction, http://www.tikipod.net/galaxymap.jpg as you can see this is the normal size of the map. if anyone knows where i can uplode such a large picture on the net please let me know and ill update the other map into its full size.
Please let me know where any new systems go, other territorial claims, or if theres a dispute over ownership of any of the cannon planets.

Alright heres my first updated map, ive colored the territories in, and as you can see I added other cannon factions in. if you cant tell
Gold- New Republic
Red- Imperial Remenant
Dark Red- Hapian Cluster
Silver/Grey- Corporate Authority
Light Blue- The Centrality
Brown- Hutt Space
Yellow- Kathol Republic
Now a few notes, the gree lines are not ALL Federation space, but more like possible territory. All the green space represents is space where the New Republic gives the Feddies first choice in colonization. For example if a republic ship discovers a new system with 30 perfect earthlike planets in that area, the federation can take those planets and colonize it itself. This is just somthing between the Federation and Republic and other governments dont really have to follow this as well. I am waiting on zon to tell me where there are federation bases so I can color in the federation space as well.
Also you will note large areas that re now colored, mostly gold, but lack planets or anything. These areas are Kinda sorta under republic control, most noticibly around Imperial and Hutt space, theres large gold areas with no planet. since the Republic sees the Imperials as a threat and huts as a possible threat what with the darksaber and then the sith lord guy over tatooine, they feel its nessiary to keep ships around just in case. any areas where there is golden color but no planets can still be claimed by other facitons, as its not really republic space but just kinda republic territories that are patrolled once in a while.

[Delete] | We should make important planets that get played on frequently, especially Tatooine, show up a bit more prominently on the small-sized map and mark the location of the route of ages.
By the way, if you want to include former Talon space (which is now disputed territory being fought over by former high-ranking Talon military officials), it's in that unclaimed space between the Hydian Way and the Perlemian Trade Route where Korriban, Ord Radama, Thule, Ziost, and Elom are, with Talon Prime being roughly in the center of it. Also, Saroya (which technically was made to have never existed in the first place) would have been in the little pocket with no marked planets just "north" of Rhen Var and Felucia.

[Delete] | First off, I learned somthing really intersting if your right hand is not on home row and sits off just a little update becomes yodate, or yoda if you catch your typo at the right time, that or my brain is stuck
Anyways, taking up tims advice I made a zoomed in portion, and kinda scheched where I belive the Comgolmerate would be, using Aces map and the arrow that pointed towards tatooine.

I have yet to go ahead and color tyms faction or aces into the big map, but there is at least a zoomed in map for us to put the more important systems near our area of rp.
