I got no problem with it - I hardly have time to RP, and I can conform with the evil regime for a while. Venezza Krashive - will be on whatever side Angel or James Aries is on (probably good). Delphi Osyn - will probably be on whatever side that Buzz is on, or Gnosis if Pog comes out of hiding. Orin Sesru - will stick with her employer/friend Buzz. Chloe Morriston - with the Empire. Madea Malinche - Madea herself is dead, but members of her cult live on and conspire to resurrect "God," and since the good guys will only get in their way, they have to be on the side of Team Evil, if only as an alliance or partnership. They're only after their own goals, but if garnering support and help to meet those goals means they must help others obtains theirs, then they'll do it. The cult was supposed to be working with William Sanjet and Shinra. So they're with Sanjet, but if Sanjet goes good then they'll stay shady--keep their "project" well covered. I have been working with several people on an idea to try and overthrow the New Republic with various factions. I wanted to propose the concept to see if anyone wanted to play through it. I didn't want to just force this upon the chat so instead I would love to hear back from everyone on their thoughts and feelings to see if this should take off. Layout: The Empire/Eden is behind the scenes creating and/or organizing various factions to take over the core sectors. It would begin with strategic strikes against hyperspace routes and then attacks upon smaller undefended systems. A lot of hit and runs so that the New Republic is fighting numerous galaxy wide threats. Pushing buttons in the senate to help destablize its power base with discontent that they are unable to do their job in the hopes of making the Senate a galaxy wide joke. In time each faction would control to a sector and with all the fighting between factions the Empire would come in to save the day and 'force' the smaller factions to form a Confederation which respected the borders of sectors for the benefit of sentient lives. Where this plays out is up to the chat at large. I have no problems with this resulting with the underground banding of all heros to strike back and defeat 'Team Evil'. Role play stuff: I personally think this is a great role play opportunity for all. If you are the good guys you get the chance to play the resistance, the dark underground freedom fighters with Tatooine as one of the many points of contention that is still struggling to maintain independence as they have always done. If you want to join 'Team Evil' (yes, it is jokingly named) then you have the chance to control a sector and fight the ..er..bad fight against the heroes. Both sides are needed to make this enjoyable for all. This is a rather large event that will hopefully affect everyones role play so I am eager to hear back from everyone. Above all things I am in this chat for role play and character interaction and I just want to make something fun and new for everyone. HOWEVER... it is a big RP, as you stated, it will effect every one ,and there may or may not be things that will have to be ironed out. after every one makes their decisions and we decide to go with it or no, it might be fare to work out any questions or concerns. mainly how this might effect individual RP, and people and their bussiness with procrastination (*coughtZon*cough*) how long the RP plot might last, things like that ... very importatnt. or atleast, I think so. That being said, great idea, but just start acting on it. Dont worry if you step on anyones toes, the real world doesnt happen the way we all want it to, why should the roleplay world. Each step of the way to end goal, should also be a general idea of where you want to go, and let each person interpit the passage to that goal themselves, and then others play off that, and adapt their ways to that goal.
