Spurned by a boring physics class and jek's redoing of the city map, I've decided to label up a map on a much larger scale- -a sector map, and then some. This'll be three-Dee (yee-haw!) which means it'll be three graphs, each for the one axis. Its technically Starfleets starcharts, or sort of, so it'll go by those rules: 20x20x20 light year cube with Tattooine in the middle. I'm gonna give it a coordinate of 0,0,0 at the moment, right smack dab in the middle. Each grid on standard graphic paper will represent a light year distance. Eventually I'll expand it to encompass surrounding sectors (IE, most of Federation space is a sector or two over). So if anyone has space devices, areas, and the like, please post here. Keep in mind a few things: The closest star to earth is four light years away. The speed of light is 300,000 kilometers per second, and a light year is therefore 9.4 trillion kilometers. The distance from the Earth to the sun is about 149...million kilometers. So we're talking big here. If you have anything from outside the Tattoo Sector, give it over as well, but don't expect to see it this weekend. If you'd like to have coordinates, post them here, and I"ll try to edge you in and all.
