25.1.21 Coruscant - Jedi Order's Grand Master Luke Skywalker is in custody according to the New Republic Defense Force. a statement released by them states that the Jedi Master surrendered without fight at the Tanos station, home of the New Republics Farpoint Tatooine fleet. Admiral Steve Parks was there to accept the Jedi's surrender, and in his report wrote "Master Skywalker came alone in his private craft (A T65 X-wing) and surrendered himself and any weapons on his person without conflict or argument. he was then taken to our brig and secured, again without hassle. |

25.1.23 Coruscant - Luke Skywalker is now in a cell on Coruscant, the exact holding location is being kept secret as the Jedi Masters surrender has led to a number of demonstrations, a few turning into clashes.
Meanwhile the Grand Courts of the Republic met today in preparation. Fondor, homeworld of the Colonel injured by Skywalker has filed for the Trial to be transferred and held there, though law officials say its highly unlikely anything like that will happen, pointing out the Soldier was working in the Defense force at the time, and occurred on Coruscant. No Defense has been named for Skywalker, while Bothan Trada has been named for the prosecution |

25.1.30 Coruscant - Grand Master Skywalker had his first visit to the courtroom today for accusation and his initial plea. in a 30 minute court session Skywalker pled guilty to is charges. charges and time proposed by the prosecutors are as follows.
Treason - 35 years
Trespass on a government base- 4 years
Assault on a Government Officer - 15 years
Stealing government property- 2.5 years
destruction of government property - 3 years
All told Luke Skywalker faces 59.5 Years incarceration. Deliberation on his final sentence will begin in two days |

25.2.6 Coruscant - Luke Skywalkers sentence was announced today, an amasing 59.5 Year possibility instead has been whittled down to 6 months in Prision, with a 2 year house arrest and 3.14 million credits in fines. Skywalker has also agreed to step down from his position within the Jedi Order. As usual results are mixed, many people are upset that the Treason charge, which held most of the sentence's Jail time, was dropped. some protests are expected and Officials are ready but most within the republic feel this was a good compromise, and shows that the Jedi cannot act without consequences. Skywalkers place of incarceration is being held secret. |

After everything the Skywalkers fought for, and frankly died for, hell, Luke FOUNDED the damn new Jedi Order! Did you idiots ever stop and think maybe there was a damn good reason for what he did?! NO of course you didn't! You probably didn't even ask! I have no sympathy for you lot at all. Now there's an Evil Luke running around, and thanks to your inability to see a bigger picture, he's gonna get to walk all over this galaxy, because you locked up the good one, the likely one person in this galaxy who can stop his evil alternate. So you know what, you lot deserve your fate. I can safely say, that when the shit hits the fan, I will be taking my daughter (and hopefully my husband unless he gets that stubborn streak), and going to safer, less evil infested waters. Good luck with the holes you dug yourselves. |
