The world is 10 years post the worst war in its history--nearly a billion people dead across the globe, and not one nation is spared its fury. The cause--a massive uprising from a previously unknown force, the inhumans among us. An army of approximately one hundred thousand were wolves waged war against humanity with near complete impunity until a group of humans and weres banded together against them. Now, 10 years after, there is a safe haven for the weres which helped humanity, and it contains nearly fifty thousand werewolves. Around twenty thousand werewolves are known throughout the rest of the world, and humanity is still picking up the pieces of society. Governments have taken measures to ensure that citizens remained mostly ignorant of the creatures attacking, though some places remain more informed than others. Most world governments are now fully aware of and working to control the integration of supernatural races back into society.
