Name: Morwyn Louise Perry

Gender: Female

Race: Light Matter Vampire

Age: 158, looks 17

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 105 lbs

Appearance: Morwyn has a slender build and very pale skin. Her hair is white and slightly wavy, and reaches down to almost her waist and her eyes are silver. She currently wears whatever suits her mood at the time, usually something in blue or green, and almost always a skirt or dress of some sort as opposed to pants. She still rarely wears shoes unless the weather calls for it. During cold or wet weather, she is often seen wearing mismatched brightly-colored clothing as she has to throw on whatever clothes she actually owns as opposed to creating an illusion of whatever she feels like.

Personality: She can be somewhat pessimistic, but she tries her best to be positive. She is friendly, kind and rather quiet, and still sometimes shy around people she doesn't know, though usually her curiosity wins over if she's in a good mood. She's almost always willing to help, even going so far as to let strangers stay in her house with her on occasion, and frequently giving directions to those lost in the woods. She does have a silly and fun side that shows when she's in a good mood. She is a very "touchy-feely" person, but normally that is repressed by her shyness (she has been known to get very "touchy-feely" when drunk). She can be easily bored and somewhat restless, though she is fine and quite content if she finds something to work on. Due to the month she spent imprisoned by Rone, she now also becomes quite bold when she feels threatened, although this is basically just an adrenaline rush and she ends up shaken up afterward and can even be snapped out of it.

Personality Flaws: When things start to go bad, she becomes easily depressed and moody and sometimes downright paranoid of everyone. She can be very naive at times and very forgetful as well, especially with names. She also suffers from claustrophobia. Being in towns and unfamiliar buildings makes her paranoid and being in very confined spaces drives her mad.

Dreams and Aspirations: To live a peaceful and fun life with Pack. With all the crazy bad stuff she's been through, this seems like quite the lofty goal to her.

Hobbies and Interests: Various arts and crafts, knitting, baking cookies (but not much else, lol), playing with her cats, playing with dolls, doing crazy stuff with Pack, and currently learning how to play the violin. She also loves Star Wars and MacGuyver.

  • Strength: 10 (exp: 5500)
  • Speed: 10 (exp: 5500)
  • Senses: 5 (exp: 1500)

  • Float: 5 (exp: 1500) - When falling, she can slow herself down enough so that she can land on the ground safely.

Magic:

  • Light: 10 (exp: 5500) (Weakness: Shadow)
  • Light Crystal: 10 (exp: 5500) (Weakness: Shadow)
  • "Lightsaber": 5 (exp: 1500) - For all intents and purposes, this works just like a normal lightsaber would, other than the fact that it can't be stolen from her or broken as it is something she is producing herself with highly condensed light. (Weakness: Shadow and Distraction)
  • Illusion: 5 (exp: 1500) (Weakness: Distraction)
  • Teleportation: 5 (exp: 1500) (Weakness: Anti-Teleport Barriers)

  • Mental barrier: 10 (exp: 5500) (Weakness: Distraction)
  • Telekinesis: 5 (exp: 1500) (Weakness: Distraction)

Weaknesses: It takes her longer to heal from wounds caused by either (about 4 or 5 days, normally).

  • Water: Only in liquid form. Snow and ice do not hurt unless they melt. Water tends to burn her skin like acid, little drops causing minor irritation, because of the way that water distorts light.
  • Darkness: Only in a more concentrated form. Simply being outside at night or standing in a shadow won't hurt her. It tends to react to the light that is within her, often eating away at her skin until it causes her to bleed, which is when her blood starts fighting back, being a highly condensed form of light itself.

Morwyn was born and raised on Arda in a small village near Kaymakli City. Her father was a great nanotechnition who was working for a company that was researching space travel. He was in charge of developing a nanomachine that could be injected into the astronauts so that they could survive the most severe conditions, but at her mother's request, he mostly worked from a lab he had at home so that their two daughters could grow up in a peaceful village instead of a big city.

One day, a strange disease broke out in her town. It took her mother first, and she watched as the sickness ravaged her body. She gave Morwyn her prized necklace just before she died, which is why she never took it off, and was sometimes seen fiddling with it with a sad look on her face, which became such a habit that she still sometimes reaches for it even though it is gone. The disease spread around the town quickly, and they were soon quarantined.

Her father could not bear to lose her to the sickness as well, so when she came down with the sickness, he did the only thing he could think of. He injected her with the untested nanomachines that he had been working on, hoping that it would save her life. The nanomachines worked just fine, eradicating the sickness from her body, but preserving her otherwise: sickly pale and eternally 17. She did not yet know how to control the special abilities that her new nanomachines gave her, and soon after injection she accidentally killed her father.

After fleeing from her town, she wandered around, from village to village, trying to find a place to fit in. She killed many people on accident before she got a handle on her nanomachines' abilities, and the guilt of all the blood on her hands weighed heavy on her for a very long time. Many towns since then rejected her simply because they found out about her abilities. They labeled her as a freak and feared that they might also die from one of her accidents.

She would've gone to live with her sister and brother-in-law in the city, but she was afraid of accidentally killing them as well, and she didn't want to be responsible for that too. So instead, she just let them believe that she had died along with most of the village, not even bothering to contact them, believing it to be for the best.

The last town that she was in, she stayed in for almost a year. A family had taken her in, and was okay with her strange quirks. One day, the town was having a ball, and her new family was invited. She got all fitted out with a beautiful black dress, and was so happy to go. Once there, she danced with a few people, but soon became aware that an attractive young man was paying special attention to her. He was smooth and soon had her alone. When he tried to take advantage of her, she defended herself the only way she knew how, and it killed him. Little did she know at the time, but this was the mayor's son. She had to flee from the ball. The dress she wore up until a few years ago was the same one, but with over 70 years of wear and tear from living in the forest, so it was practically rags by the time she had the means to fix it.

Eventually she started to trust other people again and started to make new friends, though it was a slow process. As she came to trust people more, her happy side started showing through again, especially when one person told her that the best way to honor the memory of her parents would be to move on with her life and be happy again instead of continuing on in mourning as she had all those years.

At one point, after having them over 100 years, she learned that the nanomachines were going to stop working, so after much indecision, she finally let Shodan remove them from her body to make her a normal human again. Shodan also removed the sickness as well. She stayed a normal human for a few weeks or so, but it really wasn't working well for her, as she was having trouble finding food and had generally forgotten how to take care of herself. She became afraid that things would only get much worse when winter came.

Not long after she had lost her nanos, Pack offered to turn her into a light matter vampire to help her out, and after much thought she finally went through with it. Since then, the two have become a couple. She had a bit of difficulty adjusting at first and was slow to learn how to defend herself and protect herself from her new weaknesses, so a friend built a house for her out in the middle of the forest.

From time to time Rone and Frank Horrigan would attack her. Rone tended to stalk and harass her while Frank seemed more intent on destroying her house and trying to kill her. Abigor, a friend of hers, was out to get Frank at the time for various reasons, and got a light-crystal dagger from Pack to aid him in his battles. He severely wounded Frank with it, so in retaliation, Frank attacked whom he thought provided him with the weapon - Morwyn. He chased her down and locked her in a dark-crystal box, which traumatized and injured her until Abigor came to her rescue.

After recovering from that, she was fine for awhile, enjoying an extended happy phase of sorts. Rone had disappeared and Frank stopped bothering her, so all was going well for her. That was until Cade, who was in fact her older sister Jenny, stumbled upon Morwyn and started messing with her, later to be accompanied by Rone once more. This time, with Cade's help, Rone managed to kidnap Morwyn and tortured her for a month. He stripped her down and Cade took the necklace. She was eventually rescued by Pack in the midst of an attack by Frank Horrigan, of all people, who seemed to just want to mess with Rone.

Pack took her into his care and neither of them were seen much for a few months as he helped her through the issues that the torture had caused as well as training her to fight better in case Rone were to find her again. He moved in with her and still stays with her at night and she enjoys having him around more often like this.

Finally they burst into the civilized world again during a training exercise and found Rone safely in Rathien's arms. This was a shock to Morwyn and for quite some time she felt that she lost a friend. They have since patched things up, agreeing that while they do not like each others' mates that shouldn't stop them from being friends. However, she still does not venture close to Erufu cities alone unless she has to due to Rone now being King.

Venturing out into the forest again on her own, she decided to visit Abigor one day. He knew of a mother cat and some kittens who needed a home, so she took them home with her, much to Pack's delight. The kittens have since grown up, but they have all stuck around, making a nice furry addition to their little family.
